Guess Who's Walking!

That's right. Tegan started walking this week! She and Amber went to Oklahoma, and, while they were there, she took off. She'd been planning this for some time. She's been walking between Amber and myself in our apartment for some time. Just before they left for Oklahoma last week, she stood up on her own. I think that seeing her cousins walk convinced her that she was ready, too. And just like that, she was off.

I was a bachelor for a week while Amber and Tegan went to Oklahoma. Bachelorhood is overrated. I did not go to any strip clubs or get drunk every night, as I imagine all bachelors do. Instead, I ate Skillet Sensations and worked while watching a lot of TV.

Bailey tore up the blinds in our kitchen on the Monday after Amber left. I guess he missed her. $27.95 later, we have new blinds. I replaced these before Amber got home. I can't remember why we got a dog. I left him in his crate everyday for the rest of the week while I was at work. I'm sure he loved it.

Amber and Tegan are back. They arrived on Saturday at around 5:00 PM. I'm glad they're home. I was getting used to sleeping through the night, but luckily Tegan woke up at 1:00 AM last night to snap me out of that. Amber is looking for things to do over the next week. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know. I'll pass them along.

As for me, there's nothing new. Work is getting pretty busy. We have a few deadlines coming up that are going to be challenging to accommodate. We're planning to hire some contractors to help us out. Other than that, there's nothing really going on here.
