Tegan's New Room

She did it herself. I swear. Without any encouragement from me (initially), Tegan crawled in to Bailey's cage. She loves it there! This is going to save us so much money. Rather than having to furnish an entire room for her, we're pretty sure we can just buy another cage. At first, this was cute. But now that she knows that Amber and I think it's funny, we can't keep her out of it. I'm pretty sure that CPS is going to come take her away from us, soon. You should be able to click on the picture above to make it larger.

Amber, Tegan, and I went to Norwood Day today. That's right. The city has a day devoted to itself. There were pony rides, a petting zoo, moonwalks, food, etc. in Norwood's town square. It was pretty crowded so we did not get to experience any of the aforementioned attractions. We did, however, have a good time walking up and down the street, though.

I think the Massachusetts area has a lot of these types of Fall festivals. We may attend another one with someone that Amber and Tegan had a play date with last week. The weather here is such that you can't help but go outside, which might explain why there are so many of these types of events.

My folks are coming to visit next weekend. I'm taking a few days off of work after they get here. It'll be a nice break from the grind. It couldn't come at a better time. I'm up to my neck in work, but I think I need to take a break for a few days.

I think we're going to head down to Newport, Rhode Island while they're here. We may also try to drive somewhere to watch the leaves turn. We were thinking about doing this anyway, but my mom's excitement about the possibility of doing it the last time I talked to her cemented our plans to do so.

Amber finished up her scrapbook detailing Tegan's first year this afternoon. If you come over to visit, ask her if you can see it. She's already started working on year 2.

Since I'm sure that you're bored of reading this uneventful entry, I'll end it here.
