Thanksgiving Feast!

Tegan had her Thanksgiving feast today at school. Her class had a turkey parade - they decorated potatoes with feathers and made a bed of hay for them to sit on (in a shoe lid box) and then used a string to pull them down the hallways. Tegan of course loved this and now I have to explain how we can not keep this forever (at least the potato part). Her class had the Mayflower theme, so they decorated hats with ship sails. It was very cute and she ate everything on her plate except the turkey which her class made - go figure.
