We went to visit my brother's family in Denver this past week and had so much fun. We drove up to the mountains and stayed in a cabin close to Winter Park and Grandby. There was lots of snow throughout the trip and the kids loved it, especially Tegan. Along with our 3 kids, my brother has 3 girls. All the kids got to go sledding and the 4 oldest in the group inlcuding Tegan went to ski school one day while the adults got to enjoy a day of skiing. The second day on the mountain, we only took the oldest 2 (which didn't include my children) back skiing. The younger 4 stayed back with Memaw and Papaw to build a snowman and relax at the cabin. Greg and I attempted snow boarding and lasted two trips down the mountain before exchanging them back for skis - we decided our 3 children needed us and didn't think we both would survive snow boarding down the mountain. We had a great time spending time with family and enjoying the snow, but we sure do love Houston and the warmer weather. Here are a few pics from the trip.
