How many five year olds could you take in a fight?

I could only take on 14. I think that it may have had something to do with the fact that I lack martial arts experience, and I was reluctant to pick one up and use him/her as a weapon (although I did indicate that I'd do so if s/he attacked me first). Maybe I'm getting soft.
